If you want to do big deals; have a budget for offline marketing. When I mean offline marketing, I don’t mean going to share fliers in a mall.
Whilst sharing flier is good, you need to be more specific in your targeting.
If you sell high value physical products, like real estate, and other high value services, you need to understand that most persons who’d do deals running into millions, do not really spend much time online, and even if they do, they are here for the fun of it, most times.
You’ll hit it more, if you find out where they hangout and take your market to them. Find the lounge they spend time in. Find the gym they love, and register there too. Find the events they attend, and take yourself there by all means.
Don’t just go there to start sharing fliers and talking about your products and services. Rather use it as a medium to build rapport with them. They’ll feel better conversing with you on a neutral ground over their favourite drink, and you’ll have a better chance of landing the deal.
Don’t stay here on social media and be posting up and down. You’ll get deals on social media, no doubt, but you see those deals you get in clubs, lounges, events, gyms, parks and resorts they are the main thing.
I am not saying you should abandon social media. Social media is a very powerful tool, use it to your advantage.
If at this point you do not have a notoriety budget for social media adverts in 2022; what have you been doing exactly?
Let your name and face be on their screens on a daily. Imagine if these men see you share value daily on social media, and they finally get to see you in their favourite hangout spot; paddy, meat don dey your soup be that.
Don’t just sit there and be wishing that premium clients will find you. Pack your bags and go find them where they are.
This strategy is quite expensive, and may take a little time, but a single deal sealed with this strategy can settle you for a whole year.
The same man who’d have bought just a single plot of 5million from you, because he saw you online will go ahead to buy a hotel or a plaza worth 300million, because he saw you hanging out in his favourite spot, and you both usually have a warm conversation.
Most of the big deals you hear about are sealed in nightclubs, parties, gulf clubs, polo clubs etc… Find yourself in the right places at the right time. If you are not a night club person, go get a gulf club membership. Attend industry events, too.
Go meet them where they are. There’s no limit to the deals you can do in those places. Find them, befriend them, and sell to them.
